Every year Jordan and I participate in a big gambling pool with alot of our friends. We do this for March Maddness, and for the college football bowls. Its $20 a person, and this year there were 40 people in it! That puts first place walking away with about $450 bucks! Not too shabby for a days work. Let me feed my ego a bit and say that 2 years ago, I won BOTH pools, the football and basketball one!!! All the guys were a bit upset that one of the wives took home the pot- the wives are just asked to play to up the winnings if ya get what I'm saying.
So this year, I picked Michigan State- a TOTAL SUCESS! Honestly, I have no idea why I picked them to go so far, but I'm so glad I did. I didn't pick Villanova, but the team I picked already got bumped out, so I needed Nova to win because everyone else picked UNC. Does that make sense? I really am starting to sound like a boy.
At any rate, Villanova looked like a junior high team playing a pro team lastnight. In the process of watching my $450 slip away, I tore off all my fingernails, then proceeded to clip Riley and Jace's nails also. Note to self, never clip your children's fingernails while you are losing large amounts of money.
I NEEDED that money to pay off my camera from the aforementioned post!!!! Now some man is going to win it that will probably blow it on beer and sunflower seeds for him and all his friends.
I'm a pathetic loser.

oh my gosh....this made me laugh. Joey and I do the SAME thing...we put money into a pool and fill out brackets!... then we yell and scream at the TV during every game :) I so thought I had a chance this year!! but alas I picked Pittsburg to win it all (sigh). I'm out too :)

Hate to rub it in, but I'm living with a winner! Chad won his bracket and took home the pot. Can't say it was $450 (not even close!), but hey, it was some extra cash...thanks to a little gambling fun!
i know nothing...i thought villanova was a person :) sad you lost though!!
