Today is Riley's 4th birthday and she woke up EXTRA early to celebrate! At 5:50 am, we hear Riley and Jace shooting hoops in Jace's room. So then I had to go in their with my wooden spoon and threaten their lives.... great way to start such a happy day. :) After our run in, Jordan and I came back into her room an hour later with the video camera in hand singing "happy birthday" in our best voices! She was probably just smiling because she was so happy we didn't have the spoon! :):)
I just had to take this time to post a few pictures of my precious little girl... everyone says that time flies, but I think it quadruples when you have you own child. This is Riley 4 years ago today...

Now this is her this morning! Why do I have tears in my eyes!!?? She is so precious, smart and beautiful on the inside and out. I love her spunky spirit and head-strong personality, usually. :) She is everything I have ever wanted in a little girl. Thanks for letting me share this with you all!!! Lots of love!!

Katie! What an amazing mom you are. I know Riley is so blessed! It is so fun to see glimpses of your life and your precious kids... AND by the way...I LOVE the Happy Birthday banner. I might just have to steal that idea!! :)

Katie! What a sweet little girl. I cannot believe she is 4. I remember seeing Riley when she was 2 months old...wow, time flies. She sounds so much like Carsen to me, I just have to meet her again. I love the picture of Jace and Riley hugging, so precious. You make some really cute kids that clearly love you and love each other.
