This and That

So I made the Pioneer Woman's BBQ Chicken Pizza... and it was kind of a flop. I KNOW!! Well, actually, I think it falls under the category "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". My hungry family members are 3 and 5 years old, so I spent most of the meal picking off "green things", and answering other such questions about food color and contents. I thought it was pretty darn good myself. :)

I just have to give a shout out to my sweet hubby who came home with the most beautiful white roses and a note titled "12 Reasons I Got You 12 Roses".... how sweet it that??!! It totally made my day!!!! He can do no wrong for at least a week now. :)

I just LOVE when my kids all get along...

Take note, I didn't put a picture of Riley and Jace together on here... :):)

We have been super busy since Riley has started playing soccer. During her last game, on saturday, she scored FOUR goals!!! I thought Coach Jordan was going to burst with pride, even though we, as a family, know NOTHING about the sport of soccer at all!

And that just about covers what has been going on with the Newton's lately! :)

you are hilarious. Love your sweet family. I once made something from Pwoman that was so nasty that I don't think I can ever open the cookbook again. I blame her...it surely was not my lack of cooking skills.

Katrina, you probably put in salt instead of sugar or something! None of her recipes are gross!! Katie, I was like HOW could that possibly lose?! But then I realized that I probably wouldn't like it either... no matter how pretty it is! Good job, momma! :)
