Every time I enter a contest, for example, on say The Pioneer Woman's website, I feel certain I am going to be the lucky winner! Then I'm not, and it totally effects my day! WHAT is that all about???
She gave away SIX of the cutest Kitchen Aid Apple Green electric mixers that you have ever seen yesterday, and so I obsessively checked my email inbox to see if she had written me a congratulatory note!!! I even envisioned JUST the right spot on my countertop where the new appliance would call home. I decided I wasn't going to use it for a few months, and just let it sit there and look cool. All nice, new and shiny. No little kids would be allowed to touch it. Period. I would talk to it every morning and tell it how lucky I was that I won such a great prize.
Then, at the end of the day, I checked her website, because surely she had technical difficulties and hadn't announced any winners yet. OR, she picked 6 people for her giveaway... just not me!!! LOL!
I'm sorry, I just had to vent. Maybe I have some kind of issue I can trace back to my parents and how they raised me???? I'm grasping here. :):)
I apologize in advance for such a strange and random post, but I do feel better now. Moving on... :)
