Dragon Lady

Just call me Dragon Lady.  

My daughter did.

So we are in HEB yesterday, and Jace and Riley are messing around with eachother in the compact produce section.  The kind woman at the front door had given my kids stickers to help make their shopping experience more enjoyable- maybe next time lady.  Immediately, Riley kept trying to stick one of hers on Jace's face, so I told her to stop,

then I told her again, 

then I grabbed her arm and told her again....  

And then she YELLED, "Mommy, you're a DRAGON!" 

I muttered "Excuse Me?"

Then she said it one more time to really seal the deal. 

When we got home, I spanked her and sent her to her room for a while, a long while.  After we had a talk, and I mean a really good, eye-to-eye, come to Jesus, TALK, I asked "Now Riley, do you understand why you got a spanking?"

"Yes, Mommy, I do..... but I just think that you are!"

Obviously, I am using very effective parenting strategies.
