It was AWESOME.

Have you ever tried to cram 14 five year olds and 15 adults into 1800 square feet? This is what it looks like... (and this isn't even half of the people!)

We had Riley's FIFTH birthday party at our house on friday night! It really was a blast, despite the fact we planned an OUTSIDE camp-out and the temperature was freezing!! Jordan spent a long time putting the tent up in the back yard, setting up the camp fire for smores, ect..., and while the smores were a huge hit, the tent didn't get much use. It was cold outside baby!!! :)

I appointed Mamma as the gaming coordinator, and she didn't let me down. They played hot potato, balloon bop hop (i just made that name up, catchy huh?) :), and something that involved everyone wearing a tail and running after each other trying to pull the other's off their rear! It was hilarious!!! She had prizes for the winners and everything! But note to self... make sure to have enough prizes for everyone, regardless of winning or losing... you should have seen these kids eyes when only 2 or 3 got a prize!! We ended up dividing the prizes up between everyone (for example, one kid got a sheet of stickers for their prize, that ended up being divided by 15)! :) It was wild, it was crazy, but it was memorable. Especially at the end of the night, when Riley came to snuggle with me and Jordan on the couch and she said, "This party was awesome!
Thank you so much! It was awesome! I mean it, awesome.". That made it all worth it. Here are a few pics of the big bash! :)

Quote of the night by Jordan... "Kate, this is our first, and last home birthday party."

Riley's party was a huge hit! Mason had a blast. I'm with Jordan on the home parties, from here on out, let's go somewhere else so they have to set up and clean up. I can't believe Riley is 5 though!
